Indian Heart Association

The heartbeat of India and South Asians worldwide. Join us in our quest to end heart disease.

Our three pillars

Education

The Indian Heart Association (IHA) raises awarness about preventive cardiovascular health through online outreach, literature, and grassroots advocacy. We've been featured in leading global publications.

Advocacy

The IHA advocates for cardiovascular health promotion for all. We conduct comprehensive heart healthy screening camps, sit on international and national health boards, and partner with global and Indian organizations.

Policy

The IHA serves on the Cardiovascular Subcommittee of the Bureau of Indian Standards, Ministry of Health India. We work with a variety of stakeholders to help shape policy that improves health outcomes.

“Heart disease is one of the most pressing challenges that Indians are facing. I'm pleased to see the Indian Heart Association making a significant impact on curbing heart disease.”
